The Ramblers' Association Winchester Group is one of over 400 local
walking
groups which make up the Ramblers' Association in the United Kingdom.
The Ramblers' Association is a registered charity whose aims are:
 | To protect and enhance the footpath network |
| To protect the countryside against unwarranted or damaging development |
| To secure public access to open uncultivated land |
| To promote walking for health and for pleasure amongst people of all ages and all backgrounds |
Before joining a local group you must first become a member of the Ramblers' Association. http://www.ramblers.org.uk When you become a member, you will automatically receive details of the walks programme for your local area, but you may choose to join another group instead.
Members of other groups who would like to receive our programme can do so by applying to the address given in the Ramblers Year Book.
