Our Group forms part of Ramblers – the charity working for walkers. Members of our Group are not only able to walk with our Group and any other Ramblers group but also have the satisfaction of knowing that their subscription supports the wide charitable work of Ramblers promoting walking and a love of the countryside
Taster walks with the Winchester Ramblers
Winchester Ramblers always welcome anyone to try a walk with them on their walks of varying length offered on Thursdays and Sundays through the year. However we are now also offering special introductory Taster Walks on Sundays as well.
All of the walks are FREE and open to everyone.
The programme for the next 3 months is as follows. Meeting at Durngate Car Park, opposite The Willow Tree Pub and near the Winchester Police Station, the arrangement is either to walk from there or car share to the start point. All walks start at 10am
17 June Winchester- St Cross- St Catherine's Hill
1st July Winchester - Twyford Down - St Cross
15 July Winchester - St Giles Hill - Magdalen Down
